I have not much to say, Sir. Barring that from the scavenging contractor is a deliberate lie from the top to the bottom. As regards the ham and that, I admit that I have received them up at the house, but he stated there that I went down at 12 o'clock on Sunday morning in uniform. That is a thing I never did on a Sunday, barring early morning duty, and that is from 6 to 9 in winter, and from 5.30 to 8.30 in summer. And, in regard, I might state again, that I have also made that man wash his place out every Friday, the same as I make every other licensed premises do, and the same as I
